Explicit ApS, a European greentech pioneer in the use of drone technology for emissions monitoring, has established a wholly owned Australian subsidiary, Explicit Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, strengthening its presence in the Asia-Pacific region and supporting the growing demand for advanced emissions monitoring solutions.
The expansion reflects the strong, rapidly growing momentum in APAC, where demand for accurate and transparent emissions data is increasing across the energy, resources, and waste sectors. Establishing a local entity enables the Denmark-headquartered Explicit to operate closer to clients and partners, respond more efficiently to regional project needs, and scale campaigns across Australia and neighbouring markets.
“Australia was selected as the base for Explicit’s APAC operations due to its active emissions monitoring market, strong regulatory focus, and role as a hub for broader Asia-Pacific engagement,” says Jon. “The new subsidiary formalises Explicit’s existing regional activity and cements our long-term commitment to this market.”
Explicit Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, headquartered in Brisbane, will be led by Marc Blackburn, APAC Regional Director, overseeing regional operations, partnerships, and the execution of measurement campaigns.
