We are looking for a software developer to join us in developing and maintaining our digital platforms as we scale.
We provide drone-based emissions monitoring services across oil and gas, maritime, waste management and other industries. We measure greenhouse gas emissions at source, combine that data with atmospheric measurements, then apply scientific methods to quantify and visualise the results. The output is emissions intelligence operators can act on, helping them find methane leaks, improve environmental performance and protect asset integrity.
R&D sits at the centre of what we do, so you will be working with new technologies as we push what emissions monitoring can deliver.
The job
You will be part of a small, talented tech developer team, responsible for designing, building and maintaining our digital platforms, which are the core of the products we deliver to customers. As a Software Developer, your responsibilities will include:
- Co-development of our main applications, Microsoft Azure and Blazor Server Application (C#)
- Co-development of our calculation engine, Microsoft Azure Function (Python)
- Develop new, more appealing user experiences aimed at different user groups to view products and services
- Maintain databases, application services and the reporting landscape specific to the European maritime emission monitoring set-up
- Improve analysis tools and the user experience for customers, drone pilots, and internal project managers, in collaboration with the project manager running the campaigns
About you
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering, data science, software design, computer engineering, mathematics, physics or similar
- Experience with code development in C# and Python, and preferably Rust
- Experience with database design (SQL)
- Familiar with software development processes in Azure DevOps
- Experience with development of user interfaces and UX design is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Fluent in English. Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Genuine interest in technology and IT infrastructure
- Structured and focused on delivering quality work and being a good team player
