Explicit ApS – a leading service provider in the use of drone technology to monitor greenhouse gas emissions – has expanded its board of directors as of 13 June 2025 with the inclusion of Morten Gjetting Stage, a former industry top executive.
With a scientific background as a physicist, Morten brings with him vast experience from numerous executive roles in the energy sector, including leading energy companies like TotalEnergies, Maersk Oil, and DONG Energy. “With deep experience in both business and technology development, Morten brings with him a unique network and understanding of the global energy market and green innovation space that Explicit is in. We are super excited to have him on our team and look forward to benefiting from his insights."
Jon Knudsen, CEO and founder of Explicit
“I have followed Explicit’s remarkable growth journey over the past couple of years. They have a unique value proposition, not just from a technology standpoint but in their dedication to quality and superior data delivery. This is in high demand by the energy sector today where we see an increased focus on tracking and mitigating emissions. The green transition offers vast and excellent opportunities for innovation, and I look forward to contributing to this promising Danish scaleup with global potential."
